As a company that needs to sell a lot, we are also helping to sell products through social media. However, what is more important is being accepted by the community and being an active and supportive part of the community.
We are trying our best to be as human as possible in the corporate world. We are working on reliability, regularity and consistency in our communication efforts. A wonderful case study can bring you fame, but it won’t change the perception of the brand too much.

Tell us more about the specific activities you conduct in social media. How do you use specific channels and for what?
We use different channels, different goals and uses. Social media architecture no longer develops around Facebook. It is still a major social media platform, but like an amplifier for us, the center creates more access to and awareness of the platform than the hub.
It is perfect for product launches, supporting existing campaigns, and spreading news and information. Twitter and Instagram are highly mobile, more specialized and direct platforms. We are using them as attractive platforms for daily and direct communication, lifestyle communication,
identifying influencers (with social media monitoring), real-time communication and supporting existing campaigns. YouTube is a search-enhanced platform for us as the second largest internet search engine, although we are looking to expand our channel role. stay tuned! 4

What are the major differences and changes you have seen in the digital world in the last year? What (if anything) has changed in the way you communicate with your audience?

This enabled us to grow primarily through the use of Facebook and global content to increase the number of communication channels and create more and more local goods, video clips, movies, live-event coverage and more. Being a part of our communities helps us identify critical victims even without professional social media monitoring tools. The real fun begins when we try to reach new people, especially those who are interested in our brand or products and can influence others in the future. Again, social media monitoring is important. We can follow the discussion created by the individuals behind our main projects (products, events) or create a separate project by focusing on different types of keywords based on our goals.
How do you divide tasks between social media team members? What is the optimal number of people to handle all activities in the case of Samsung Polska?
Social media communication Samsung Electronics is a part of the PR department in Poland. We are doing a lot of work internally and we also have external help from our social media agency in which, based on skills and experience, different people handle different channels and tasks, ranging from strategy building to creative work, photos and Video editing, community management, customer service and social media monitoring.
How do you measure the effectiveness of your activities in social media?
The effectiveness of our social media efforts is measured by both our social media team and the consumer and market insights department. Thanks to those people, we can see our activities and communication from different angles and it is helping us improve with the next campaign or even small activities. This is more than just a “liking” count.
